It’s that time of year again. You are looking for that perfect gift for her that’s useful, thoughtful, and aesthetic all at once. Oh, and in budget. I’m not going to lie, I love gift guides. I’ve loved them since I was a young child pouring over the Sear’s Christmas catalog. That said, often times the items are things I’ve already bought myself, are completely out of budget, or that I know won’t get any use as a gift. So, I’ve compiled 8 gifts that I personally would love to receive and that I will be gifting to friends and family as well. If there’s anything you’d like to add to the list, please leave it in the comments! Your fellow readers will thank you!

Just a note, some of the items linked in this post are through affiliate links. If you’d like to learn more about how affiliate links work be sure to check out my policies. Every item in my gift guide is something I genuinely love or have gifted before. If you choose to make a purchase through one of my links, you won’t pay any extra, but it does help support my blog and help me create more content. Thank you as always for your support.

Oh, the beauty of a good pair of pajamas. Save your loved one from microfleece and polyester and go for a more natural approach. I simply love this Organic Cotton Set from Garnet Hill. They have multiple styles within different price points, but this pair is easily a weekend staple for me. While you’re on their site, be sure to check their sale and clearance areas, since they are updated often. I’ve found so many beautiful, well made gifts for friends and family here!

Kitchen Kit

Have a friend who loves being adventurous in the kitchen? The kits available in the Tap Root Store offer a beautiful gourmet selection of high quality kitchen kits including this Hot Toddy Kit by Camp Craft Cocktails. At $24 this gift offers a unique experience of creating the perfect Hot Toddy by infusing dried apple, lemon, star anise, clove, cinnamon and bitters-infused vegan non-GMO cane sugar with their choice of alcohol and from this kit they can create 8 cocktails. The Tap Root Shop is full of beautifully selected experiences like this including cross stitch kits, decor, and clothing options as well. It’s worth a peek!

Magazine Subscription

While we are on the topic of Tap Root, my subscription to this magazine is by far one of my favorite gifts I’ve ever given myself. It’s a bi-monthly publication that is truly packed full of ideas, artwork, recipes, new skills, and self development pieces without any advertisements, commercial themes, or negativity. It’s my favorite thing to get in my mailbox. When you’re looking at a publication that doesn’t utilize advertising for funding, it does increase the cost of the publication. For me, this $48 annual purchase is worth every penny, and if you have a Maker, Doer, or Dreamer on your list – a subscription would be a beautiful gift.

A Hat

A good hat, gloves, or scarf are always a welcome gift for me. I spend time finding quality items for my children and my partner, and often times I find that I’m using the same ragged item I’ve used since high school. A quality item like this hat from Columbia Sportswear is always something I’m happy to find under my tree. Remember to join their free rewards program so you can get free shipping on every order. It’s such an incredible perk, I wish everyone did this too.

Bath Items

Yes, you can find bath products at your local Target or Walmart. But, it’s so much more special to pick out an item that means something to you or from a small company that you love to support. I’m a huge fan of Captain Blankenship, and this gorgeous bottle Forest Bath Salts makes a gorgeous gift no matter who is receiving it. Plus, they’ve been having some amazing sales lately, so while you’re picking up something for your roommate or aunt, be sure to grab something for you as well!

Another fantastic brand to check out is 100% Pure. While they’re well known for their makeup, in my opinion, they are a fantastic option for bath, body, and hair products too. They’ve already released their holiday gifts (like this Vanilla Bean Body Set), so if you’re looking for an easy gift that won’t disappoint, 100% Pure is a great place to start.

Oh, my love and joy. While the French Roast is my go to when it comes to Stumptown, this company kills it when it comes to Christmas gift options. The last few years I’ve gifted their gift subscriptions, brewers, mugs, and I’m not even affiliated with this brand. Be sure to check them out though if you have a coffee lover in your life!

It took me a long time to finally give the Erin Condren planners a try. This last winter I made the jump and oh boy is it an amazing upgrade. I’m not going to lie, pulling out a planner that literally is designed the way I prefer to organize things with my name printed into the cover feels oh so good. The one that really caught my eye this year is the Zodiac Life Planner. I just love how peaceful the cover is and the way your name is framed in the moon. Of course it comes with the options to customize the layout, for a colorful or neutral color palette inside, and if you would prefer it be just January-December 2020 or if you’d like the rest of 2019 printed as well. If your recipient already has an Erin Condren planner, be sure to check their accessories section. They also have beautiful gift sets to compliment any planner’s obsession with order.

I hope this guide gave you a few new ideas for gifting!

Best of luck!
